We’ve tasted it as we stepped out in faith (whether through practicums or ministry projects, or other ways the Spirit led us) and saw others open up more to his love and experience a greater intimacy with Him, and possibly healing or inner healing.

Inviting someone to the the Summer Intensive may be one of the easiest ways to help others pursue the “more” that God offers them: a greater intimacy with the Most Holy Trinity, strength from knowing their identity, inner transformation, and learning to recognize God’s voice and the power of the Holy Spirit. “Come and See” is all many had to say to lead others to Christ.

Just take these steps:

  1. Recall how the Lord has blessed you through your time with Encounter. Write down at least the top 2-3 things that come to your mind. This list may seem small but it can be incredibly powerful for you because recalling what God has done always builds our faith and gives us a practical testimony we can share with others.
  2. Ask the Holy Spirit who to invite. Write their names down. Pray for them.
  3. Contact those He put on your heart. Share a bit about Encounter and how the Lord used it to bless you, and that you asked the Lord who to invite and they came to mind. Your desire is to help them experience more deeply the love, joy, peace, and power of the Holy Spirit just as you have.
