A New Opportunity for YOU!

Dear Encounter DC Alumni or Year 2 Student,

We have another exciting opportunity for you to exercise your gifts to minister to people:

• November 16 Transformation Night at the JPII Shrine (6pm – 9pm).

Ministry is one of the best ways to draw closer to the Lord, to deepen the Lord’s compassion in your heart, and to strengthen your faith as you see God work through you. If we want to be like Jesus, how can we not minister to others?

We have a need for MANY prayer ministers. Prayer ministry will focus on prayer for physical healing and prayer ministers should use the 5-step prayer model, not another model learned anywhere else. Some may request prayer for other needs—that is ok, we are there to love them and help them encounter Jesus. But inner healing sessions or deliverance tend to take much longer and we are not engaging in that, you can let them know that we have a small team that can pray for inner healing at another time.

If you are able to help us by serving as a prayer minister, please fill out this form so that we know how many can help us and how to reach out to you with further details about the event.

There will be a virtual planning meeting some time before the event to help everyone understand the logistics and flow of the event. A notice will be sent out to you with details sometime that week. Please do your best to attend if possible.

God bless you!
