A New Opportunity for YOU!

Dear Encounter DC Alumni or Year 2 Student,

We have another exciting opportunity for you to exercise your gifts to minister to people:

• May 23 Transformation Day at the JPII Shrine (9am – 4pm). The need for prayer ministers for the May 23rd event will be in the afternoon. Mass is scheduled for noon, then lunch and a talk so those praying would need to arrive by 1:00 as the praying for a deeper release of the Holy Spirit will most probably occur at 2:00. Details are being developed but this should give you a basic idea of the event.

Ministry is one of the best ways to draw closer to the Lord, to deepen the Lord’s compassion in your heart, and to strengthen your faith as you see God work through you. If we want to be like Jesus, how can we not minister to others?

We have a need for MANY prayer ministers. These sessions will focus more on pray for a greater release of the Holy Spirit!

If you are able to help us by serving as a prayer minister (we are not praying for inner healing), please fill out this form so that we know how many can help us and how to reach out to you with further details about the event.

There will be a virtual planning meeting some time (likely a Wed or Thurs night) the week of May 23 to help everyone understand the logistics and flow of the event. A notice will be sent out to you with details sometime that week. Please do your best to attend if possible.
